2011 Audi RS5

For all Audi lovers the A5 has been the coupe we have all been waiting for ever since the Audi Quattro which was produced in 1980 - 1991. Starting at an affordable $36,000 the A5 gave Audi a new look with this addition producing a sleek design as well as the new design line for future Audi Headlights. For us Audi fans we know that new models in the Audi lines means future S-type and possibly the rare RS-type coming into production.
The A5 either comes with an Standard manual transmission or Optional tiptronic, turbocharged engine with either a v6 or I4 for some models. The 2.0 I4 Engines gain an approximate 211 BHP and the 3.2 v6 263 bhp by 243 lbs.f ft torque. For a more upgraded form of the A5 the S5 would be ideal for people looking for more of a thrill in their ride. Changes noticeable of the S5 include S5 custom seats, a more aggressive exterior design, S sport suspension, standard 6-speed manual (which I love since the S6 doesn't come in manual anymore), and a powerful Inline 4 engine with 354 bhp with 325 ft. lbs. of torque. Reaching a top speed of about 170 with limitation to 155 and 0-60 in about 4.9 sec's the S5 is the true sports machine that Audi has built, kicking the small TT coupe to the side.
Yes the A5 and S5 are great machines with awesome potential but the RS5 is in a level beyond the two. With Audi trying to keep the new RS5 behind raps in 2009 and finally revealing it at the Geneva Auto show this year its going to add more news to Audi's sporty coupe line. The current RS5 seems to be making an approximate 450 bhp in a 4.2 liter turbocharged Engine coupled with a 7-speed tiptronic transmission. With a rear spoiler that pops up like the R8 to reduce drag during High speeds and just 0-60 in a little less then 4.5 seconds, I can't wait to see how this machine couples against the M3. Pricing for this elegant Audi will reach around the six figures of $104,000.
